If you have read even three other posts, you probably know by now that I am a Disney shopaholic. Admitting it is the first step to recover right? This post is a totally biased (aka all my personal favorites) countdown of the top 5 gift shops at Walt Disney World.
World of Disney (Disney Springs): I mean, come on! You knew this one had to be on the list, right? World of Disney is the largest shop on Walt Disney World property and you can find practically anything here! Clothing, toys, accessories, Dooney and Bourke, Vera Bradley, Pandora, travel gear, home wares and kitchen gadgets – World of Disney has it all! I love spending time just wandering around the store and looking at everything.
Crystal Arts (Magic Kingdom): I may feel a bit like a bull in a China shop when I enter Crystal Arts, but I just love looking at all the sparkly things! The glass work here is simply stunning and you can be sure to find a unique souvenir for yourself or anyone else on your shopping trip. My favorite part about this shop isn’t what they sell though – it’s the demonstrations! Here you can watch real artists at work as they create glass keepsakes.
Disney’s Days of Christmas (Disney Springs): I love Christmas; it’s my favorite holiday. And I love Disney. So when you put the two together into one Disney Christmas store – well, I’m in! Disney’s Days of Christmas is open all year round and features everything that you could ever want or need for the most wonderful time of the year. Whenever I visit Disney I like to pick up an ornament here to remember my trip by. The store also features free personalization on ornaments and décor!
Uptown Jewelers (Magic Kingdom): This one is definitely biased since I used to work there, but it really is a fabulous store. Even as a Cast Member, this was my favorite location to work at. From purses, to jewelry, to scarves, to anything else that sparkles – this store is for the grown up Disney girls! Want even more of a reason to visit? There is a whole Pandora section of the store featured here!
Mouse Gear (Epcot): Mouse Gear is the largest store of the four theme parks and is a shopping haven! I could literally spend hours in here just wandering around and looking at everything. You can also get your Mickey Ears customized with your name at Mouse Gear. When I’m shopping here I tend to forget about everything else, and I have lost my boyfriend more than once from wandering away because something caught my eye.
Narrowing my favorite stores at Walt Disney World down to 5 was a little harder than I expected! Honorable mention goes to Main Street Emporium (Magic Kingdom), The Chapeau (Magic Kingdom), Art of Disney (Disney Springs and Epcot), and Disney Outfitters (Disney’s Animal Kingdom).
What stores at Walt Disney World are you favorites? Any hidden gems that I need to know about? Let me know in the comments!
