Hello Disney fans! It has been awhile and I’ve missed you all terribly. Sometimes I have to step out of my Disney world and actually go to work, see family, and create some semblance of a life in the “real world.” How boring! But just because I had to take a break from Fantasyland, that doesn’t mean that I didn’t incorporate Disney into my life. Check out my Snow White DisneyBounding look I did for work. While Cinderella may be the new Queen Bee, Snow white is definitely the original HBIC. She was the first Princess introduced by Disney, and for that reason alone demands respect. Every princess after her was just playing catch up and copy cat if you ask me.
Anyways, I went with Snow White’s traditional primary color palette of red, blue, and yellow. I like how this outfit evokes the sense of Snow White, without over-doing it. A princess is always subtle after all. Well, actually, I just made that up, but it sounds good right?
My jeans are a light, distressed blue (subtle for the office), my sweater from J.Crew is a royal blue – perfect for a princess. I added a red cami peeking out underneath, and a yellow bubble necklace to make a statement and bring the look together.
Who can’t be a Princess without some royal footwear. I paired my outfit with these bright red flats from Target. So comfy and cute.
And of course, I wouldn’t be Snow White, or the owner of Minnie’s Bow Shop, if I didn’t add a custom made hair bow to my outfit. I think this red satin ribbon with white polka-dots adds a touch of femininity and Disney style.
Luckily, I didn’t eat any poison apples that day, and I didn’t have to take care of 7 messy men. Instead, I met deadlines, sent emails, and cooked dinner for just 1 man.
